The Story
Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience needed a specialized device to study the trained response of mice. Off-the-shelf products did not fulfill the test criteria of the research study. Anidea created a custom solution incorporating off the shelf and propriety electronics and software to solve their high speed electronics problems
Project
A dedicated mouse trainer conditioned response system.
Solution
Anidea developed a device to monitor the movement of mice whiskers and respond with audio tones. This facilitated a method to train mice.
Benefit
Research scientists were effective at training mice for particular tasks.
Key Technologies
Arduino Mega
Tone generation
High-speed analog inputs
