Golf club monitoring system

Problem

Anidea was contracted to create a golfing accessory product that alerts the owner if they walk away and leave a club behind on the course or green.

Solution

Prior to coming to Anidea Engineering, the KlubLeash existed only in a conceptual form. There were no competing products on the market upon which the design could be based. We worked with local manufacturers and mechanical firms as well as part procurement companies to develop a design, manage the production process and complete the work on behalf of the client.

KlubLeash is a golf club accessory that fits on the end of golf clubs and alerts the owner if they walk away and leave a club behind on the course.

Other Features

• Light activated, so it uses very little power in the light off condition
• Utilizes a PIC12F629 micro controller that is built with less than seven electronic components for cost savings in manufacturing and power optimization in usage.
• Design goal of the project called for an extended shelf life of up to 10 years, which was achieved through careful engineering.
